Very difficult to do it right, privacy issues everywhere. The Australian government has a good documents on this subject, but much more guidance is needed in a mobile environment. Also Danah Boyd has very illuminating research on this area, she gave a talk in Harvard recently and Joey de Villa captured her ideas quite well.
